The “Tour” started in Connecticut in September and ended in Fort Worth, TX on November 24th.

The Reunion Tour was billed as the blockbuster gospel music event of the year, assembling an impressive cadre of gospel superstars, including Kirk Franklin, The Clark Sisters, Tye Tribbett, David and Tamela Mann, and Israel Houghton.

In unprecedented fashion for a gospel music events, the Reunion Tour sold out several arenas across the country, including the 30,000 seat Capitol One Arena in Washington, DC and the 17,000 seat State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA.

Several Christian leaders attended the Tour and were impressed by the caliber of talent and production value.

Pastor TD Jakes stated that he attended the Tour in Fort Worth, TX, and the concert was “phenomenal”!

In an interview with Atlanta Black Star, gospel singer Maurette Brown Clark described the concert stop in DC as “incredible.”

Given its overwhelming positive reception, it remains to be seen if there will be a Reunion Tour 2.0 in the future. But it’s safe to say that the Reunion Tour has set a new bar for what’s possible in gospel music.
