It's been about four months since the video went viral of Pastor Keion Henderson, Senior Pastor of Lighthouse Church in Houston, TX, snapped his fingers at a woman wailing in the choir during a moment of meditation during worship service and told her to "hush" in front of the entire congregation.
We have since learned that the woman's name is Natalie.
Some felt sorry for the woman for what seemed like public embarrassment by the church pastor.
But on September 8, 2024 after preaching a sermon entitled, "From Chaos to Clarity," Pastor Keion spotted the woman in the crowd, wearing a scarf, and summoned her to him.
That's when he embraced the woman and publicly apologized to her, revealing that her had no idea that his actions would cause her so much "pain."
From the video, it's clear that Pastor Keion felt some level of remorse for his actions.
While the woman wailed as before during their interaction, we don't know whether she accepted his apology and if the apology puts an end to the "hush" controversy once and for all.
Take a look at the video and see the moment of (possible) restoration.
