The mother of four returned to school at the age of 38 to complete her college degree, proving that age is not an obstacle to God's plan.
The Memphis native whose family is the well-known gospel group, The Brown singers, says that dropping out of college at the age of 19 was her biggest regret.
However, nearly 20 years later, Lisa Knowles-Smith has received her degree in Psychology with the goal of pursuing her Master's degree.
