On Saturday, April 27th, at the homegoing celebration for Christian singer, Mandisa, her father gave details on what happened to his daughter that caused her death.
In a moving, nearly 20 minute tribute to his daughter, Mandisa's father, John Hundley, revealed to attendees at Brentwood Baptist Church in Nashville that he believed that his daughter fell down in her bedroom. According to Mr. Hundley, Mandisa's body was found lying on the floor, on the left side of her bed. He surmises that she was unable to reach her phone, which was located on the right side of the bed.
John Hundley, made it clear that Mandisa did not harm herself.
In addition, he told the audience that Mandisa had been suffering from Covid-19 and had been weak recovering from the respiratory illness.
An official report from Franklin police department is expected in a few weeks. In a statement on social media, the police department reported that at this time, there is no indication that Mandisa's death was "the result of suspicious or criminal activity."
Mandisa was found in her home at Beamon Drive on April 18th. She was 47 years old.
