Sad news! Dr. Charles Stanley, the senior pastor at First Baptist Church Atlanta and the founder of In Touch Ministries has died.
He passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday morning.
He became the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Atlanta in 1971 and oversaw the membership increase to over 15,000.
Dr. Stanley Stanley was also the founder In Touch Ministries, a religious broadcasting network that reached millions.
Stanley was preceded in death by his late wife Anna Stanley who passed away in 2000.
Stanley is survived by two children, his daughter Becky and son Andy.
Dr. Stanley was beloved and respected. He will be missed.
Dr. Charles Stanley was 90 years old.
