The transition is complete at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship.
On December 7th, Jonathan Evans was officially installed as the new Senior Pastor of the Dallas megachurch that his father, Tony Evans, founded nearly 50 years ago.
Pastor Tony Evans preached the sermon for his son's installation ceremony before taking a seat in the audience with his wife, Dr. Carla.
Jonathan's entire family was in attendance for the momentous occasion, including his siblings, wife, children, aunts, and extended family.
Jonathan referenced the biblical passage, Joshua 1:3 in the closing message to the congregation, that states: "Every place your foot treads, I have given it to you already just like I have done before with Moses."
The 44-year old closed by saying that his installation was also an installation for the entire church as it prepares for the next phase of its ministerial journey.
