It has been confirmed that legendary singer, Tina Turner, has passed away in Switzerland after a long illness.
Born in Nutbush, Tennessee, she rose to fame as the lead singer of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue before launching a highly successful solo career.
Her most memorable hits include "Private Dancer," Better Be Good to Me," and "What's Love Got to Do With It," which was also the name of her bio film starring Angela Bassett.
Tina Turner is considered one of the most iconic singers ever.
She was preceded in death by both her biological sons. Raymond passed away in 2018. And her youngest son Ronnie died from colon cancer in 2022.
Tina Turner was 83 years old.
