Congratulations to Erica Campbell, one half of the singing group Mary Mary, for being named an honorary member of Alpha Kappa Alpha!
Other honorary inductees this year include Track & Field star Allyson Felix, R&B legend Patti LaBelle, and Delaware Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester.
All four (4) women were inducted in a special ceremony Sunday January 15th in Washington DC.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc. (ΑΚΑ) is an African American sorority. It was the 1st predominantly Black Greek sorority. It was founded in 1908 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, DC. This year marks the 115th anniversary of the organization.
