Donnie McClurkin stunned fans by announcing via social media that he’s leaving the recording industry after the release of his upcoming album, FINALLY.
The 65-year old gospel music singer gave no official release date for his upcoming album. However, he did declare that his next album, FINALLY, will be his last.
McClurkin is one of the most accomplished gospel music artists of his generation. He’s won 3 Grammy Awards and 10 Stellar Awards.
He’s known for such iconic hits as “Stand,” “We Fall Down,” and “Speak to My Heart.”
Donnie McClurkin is the Senior Pastor of Perfecting Faith Church in in Freemont, New York.
