For the second time in five years, a court has ruled against Benny Hinn’s ministry over unpaid marketing services- this time allowing creditors to garnish its assets.
In January, Judge John P. Chupp ordered World Healing Center Church, also known as Benny Hinn Ministries, to pay PrintMailPro over $144K in damages, plus daily interest and legal fees. The company had provided print and mass-mail marketing services in early 2025 but was not paid. By March, a writ of garnishment was issued to Frost Bank, authorizing the seizure of more than $159,000 from the ministry’s accounts.
This case follows a similar 2021 ruling, in which Benny Hinn Ministries was ordered to pay nearly $3 million in unpaid debts. Judge Alvin Hellerstein noted a long history of missed payments, with millions in arrears dating back over a decade.
Benny Hinn, a globally recognized televangelist known for his healing crusades and television ministry, has faced ongoing scrutiny over financial transparency.
Critics have also questioned World Healing Center Church’s classification as a church, which exempts it from filing certain IRS forms and disclosing detailed financial information.
The latest ruling adds to ongoing questions surrounding the ministry’s financial management and transparency.
