Bishop Richard "Mr. Clean" White Sr. Passes Away at 80

The Bermuda Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ has announced the transition of Bishop Richard “Mr. Clean” John White, Sr. of Fayetteville, Georgia.

Bishop White served the Church Of God In Christ for over 5 decades. He served as COGIC President of the Evangelism Department. In addition, he was a pioneer in the International Music Department.

He was a pastor, evangelist, renown gospel singer, and author.

Known as both a singer and dynamic preacher, Bishop White left an indelible mark on all those he encountered. Most will remember his oft quoted affirmation and song, "I’m Glad I Don’t Look Like What I’ve Been Through.”
