Singer Traci Braxton, who appeared on the reality series "Braxton Family Values" with her sisters, passed away according to her family.
Her sister Toni Braxton posted on Instagram that Traci was "a bright light, a wonderful daughter, an amazing sister, a loving mother, wife, grandmother and a respected performer. We will miss her dearly.”
Braxton died from esophageal cancer. She had been suffering from cancer for at least one year before her death.
She is survived by her parents, husband Kevin Surratt, her son Kevin Surratt Jr., her brother Michael, her sister Toni, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar, and a host of family and friends.
Traci was only 50 years old.
